Children’s Ministry

About Our Children's Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” ~ Matthew 19:14

Mountain View loves its children, and we’d love to have yours join us! Our Children’s Ministry leaders, Ms. Cristina and Ms. Renae, make sure that there’s plenty to do and learn.

Mountain View’s Children’s Ministry leaders are active adult members of our church (as well as parents) and have successfully completed the Safe Sanctuaries training. Mountain View is a Safe Sanctuaries church. For more information, contact Cristina Snyder-Hopwood.

Children's Time during Worship Service

Children's Church

The children are an important and welcome part of our Sunday service including a special call for “Children’s Time”, with a weekly message just for them. After the Children’s time is completed, the kids may attend “Children’s Church” tailored especially for them, or may return to their seats with their families at the discretion of their parents .

Children's Sunday School

Cristina Snyder-Hopwood & Renae Jolley, Leaders

Children’s Sunday School meets from 10:45-11:45 each Sunday. Activities and lessons are tailored to the age range of those children present. Our children’s Sunday School group is active outside the church as well, collecting quarters for their “Laundry Ministry”, handing out Popsicles at area parks in the summer, and crafting and delivering gifts to a local assisted living home for Seniors.
