Concert begins at 6:30 pm
Mountain View is honored to present One A-Chord in concert on Sunday, October 28, 2018, 6:30 p.m., in the sanctuary. While this concert is free, we will be collecting a love offering for the trio.
Trio members, Beth Burkey, Doug Richesin & Michael Rodgers, have been sharing their love of Christian music together for the past 13 years. They each have individual singing ministries in addition to singing together as a trio. Their trio’s group name, “One A-Chord”, is taken from the scripture in Ecclesiastes 4:12 “… a chord of three strands is not easily broken.”
Beth Burkey is a dynamic Christian speaker, singer and worship leader who utilizes her ministry gifts as a featured soloist, worship leader, and speaker for retreats, conferences, church services, and special events throughout the Southeastern United States. In addition to singing and speaking, Beth serves as the Executive Director of GodSong Ministries, founded in Athens, TN in 1996, a Christian non-profit organization that offers conferences, seminars and special events for Christian growth. Beth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Tennessee Wesleyan College. She is a certified Music teacher and taught Public school music for several years, served in churches as a Music, Programs & Youth Director and has also been a vocal coach.

His remarkable solo voice has been featured with the Knoxville Opera, the Knoxville Choral Society, and the Knoxville Symphony, and he sings regularly at his home church, Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Knoxville.
